At Easy Support Waikato, I believe support is about more than just helping people through the day—it's about creating opportunities to connect, build confidence, and enjoy life.

One of my goals is to bring people together through small group outings, social events, and day trips where everyone feels welcome and included. Whether it's grabbing a coffee, exploring a new place, enjoying local attractions, getting outdoors, or simply spending time with others who share similar interests, these experiences help build friendships, independence, and lasting memories.

Every person is different, so I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where people can try new things at their own pace, have fun, and feel part of a community. My focus is on helping people live a full and enjoyable life while supporting their personal goals, interests, and independence every step of the way.

Blake's Journey

There are some journeys you'll never forget, and Blake's is definitely one of them. Blake went into hospital after suffering a burst brain aneurysm. What followed were some of the hardest months imaginable—countless days in ICU, fighting for his life, followed by months in the rehabilitation wards learning to do things all over again.
I've had the privilege of being alongside Blake throughout his recovery, supporting him every step of the way. We've celebrated the little wins that most people take for granted, because every small step forward was a huge achievement.
Today, it's amazing to see how far he's come. He's back using his computers, enjoying video games, getting out and about, and doing what he loves most—3D printing and creating things again. Watching him regain his independence, confidence, and passion for life has been incredibly rewarding.
Blake's journey is a reminder that recovery isn't always quick or easy, but with determination, support, and never giving up, incredible things are possible.
I'm so proud of everything you've achieved, Blake. It's been an honour to be part of your journey, and I can't wait to see what you accomplish next.
Here's to resilience, hope, and the strength to keep moving forward. 💙

One of the most rewarding parts of support work is helping people achieve goals that are meaningful to them.

On this adventure, I supported a client with autism on a hike at Climb Brooks Park in Te Kūiti. The walk was a great way to improve fitness, build confidence, and enjoy the outdoors together. Step by step, he worked towards his goal, and reaching the top was a real achievement that he could be proud of.

Moments like these are what Easy Support Waikato is all about—encouraging people to get out, stay active, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals in a supportive and enjoyable way.

Let's connect and see if there's a good synergy! 🤝 #Connection #Synergy
